Lavender Dreams - The K Wedding
The first time I met James and Laura Adele, it was to introduce myself as their day-of coordinator. They had fallen in love with The Barns and wanted to be sure their day was as stress-free as possible!
So we met...And talked over EVERYTHING about their day!
Things they had given a lot of thought to, things they hadn't decided yet, and even some things they hadn't even thought of! :)
Then we gathered all of their vendor info and made a plan for their big day.
And it was a day to remember!
Laura Adele is a school teacher so she said she is used to planning everything to a T then having to go with the flow of whatever happened, so she was prepared to enlist the same philosophy on her wedding day.
But luckily, James & Laura Adele are surrounded by amazing family, friends, and church family who wanted to do everything in their power to help these two with whatever needed done.
So a whole band of people showed up to help with the decor, setting up the ceremony chairs, making the cake, creating the bouquets, and so much more! They accomplished SO much in only a few hours, it was amazing!
James & Laura Adele tied the knot in front of 120 of their family and friends in the courtyard at 4pm. The sun was blazing down but everyone took it in stride and brought hats, applied sunscreen, and stayed hydrated.
The color scheme for the decor was a lovely shade of lavender which popped against the clean white table clothes and was accented by silver wine bottles and frames.
Guests were delighted at the newlywed's first dance! The swing dance routine showed off Laura Adele's reception dress which flowed beautifully with each twist and spin, showing the purple petticoat underneath. (See a clip of the dance on our Facebook!)
Then at the end of the night, the two ran through oodles and oodles of bubbles to their decorated getaway car!
All in all, it was a memorable day for these two and we LOVED getting to know the James & Laura Adele and their families. We wish you many, many years of wedded bliss!!
