Incorporating Sports into the Wedding Decor
Usually when you hear the words "sports" and "wedding", the only correlation you think of is the groomsmen standing at the alter, trying to hide the little earbud they secretly put in, listening to their sports center while the bride and groom say their vows and then accidentally shouting "YES!" when their team intercepts the ball...
Well at least that's what I think of!
But this weekend, DJ and Desire' were able to incorporate their school teams throughout the whole wedding decor in a fun way that really showcased their personalities.
From the team socks the groomsmen wore, to the helmets the flower girls carried the petals in as they walked down the aisle, to the actual base that guests signed, and the table decor of painted mason jars to look like footballs and softballs; every thing was covered! They even used table clothes that resembled their school colors. Oh! And the buffet table was the "concession stand"!
The new arch was even decorated to match their wedding colors and serve as a gorgeous backdrop for their portraits!
