Outdoor Reception - An Intimate Gathering
Last month we had the great joy to see an outdoor reception in the courtyard!
Dream come true for me!
This reception was small and intimate, only 20 place settings, but goodness it was stunning! Could you imagine it with 100 place settings?!
While this table setting exudes intricate attention to detail, it can easily be achieved with a little time, patience, and help from family and friends!
The plates, silverware, stemware, and linens were rented from a local rental company and picked up the day before the event. The only other item ordered were the gorgeous roses. The greenery was clipped from boxwood bushes, hemlock trees, and mimosa trees grown in their own garden, as well as the little yellow flowers in the linens! Would you believe me if I said they were mums?!
Tucked into the folded napkins was more greenery, yellow mums and babies breathe which added a splash of color to the plates.
Family and friends help hang long curtains from both gazebos, they also created the stunning flower arrangement centered on the main gazebo!
The greenery was layered on the table, the roses were added and they were finished!
Such a gorgeous look!
